Jeremy Giambi

Jeremy Dean Giambi was born on April 8, 1970 in Portland, Maine. 

Jeremy Dean Giambi was the oldest son of the three children in his family.

 He attended Bates College and played for the school's baseball team. The Oakland Athletics selected him with the ninth overall selection in the 1992 MLB Draft.


Jeremy Giambi attended the University of Rhode Island, where he played college baseball for the Rhode Island Rams.


He won an Olympic Gold Medal in 2000. He also won the MVP of the American League Championship Series in 2001, 2002, and 2003. 

He was elected to nine All-Star teams. 

Giambi has appeared on five Major League Baseball postseason rosters and he participated in six World Series games.

Jeremy Dean Giambi is a retired MLB first baseman who played for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
