Kevin Porter Jr

Bryan Kevin Porter Jr., usually known by his initials KPJ, is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Houston Rockets.

Ayanna and Bryan Kevin Porter Sr. raised him in Seattle, Washington. In the 1990s, his father participated in a variety of sports at Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, including football, basketball, and baseball.


Rainier Beach High School's basketball team went to the state playoffs in each of his four years of high school, thanks to him.

Rainier Beach's 22–7 season in which he played senior year saw him average 27 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists per game.

Porter had 22 points and 11 rebounds against Garfield High School in the Class 3A state championship game on March 3, 2018.


Recruiting websites 247Sports and Rivals rated Porter as a five-star prospect, but ESPN gave him a four-star rating.
