Omicron varient of COVID-19
On November 26, 2021, the World Health Organization (WHO) identified the B.1.1.529 variant "Omicron" as a variation of corona.
There are more than 30 distinct mutations in the Covid-19 spike protein in the B.1.1.529 'Omicron' form, which makes the transmission of the disease more efficient.
