The results of recent research performed by academics from Stanford University published a comprehensive list that identified the Top 2% most Influential scientists worldwide based on the Scopus publications impact . The report was prepared by Prof. John PA Loannidis of Stanford University and his team  and published by Elsevier. A total of 186178 researchers are included in this list; Figure 1 represents the location of these researchers on the world map. As we can see that the highest number of top 2% most Influential scientists are from the USA. Figure 2 represents the exact number of researchers according to their locations.
Figure 3 represents the selected researchers according to their subjects. As we can see from figure 3, most of the researchers in the top 2% of most Influential Scientists are from Neurology backgrounds. Materials are the second most popular subject in the list. Also, Figure 4, represents the top 2% most Influential Scientists in the world in the Materials Discipline. Finally, table 1 represents the 10 Most-cited most Influential scientists in the Lists across all the Subjects.
